Review: No access for you and me....

Review: Well worth the pass and id procedures to get onto military post. Easy to find if you follow the directions. Some nice downhills and a few jumps. LOTS OF ROOTS! This makes the trail a bit challenging. Climbing over 2-3 inch roots and at some points large gaps between roots makes this a challenge. The downhills are full of the same so there is alot of bouncing. A definite full suspension trail, if you ride hard tail, I feel for you. Some trees down due to the storms. There are no maps or markings throughout the trail, so make sure you are able to find your way around, but there are two major boundeies, a road and a river. Looks like some of the trail is marked for runners. Make sure you check out both sides of the dirt road so you wont miss out on the side that is divided.

Review: Had a lot of fun. In from MD visiting my son who got stationed here...I am a little jealous. Trail has been cleaned up, no more hike-a-bike, and well marked...guess there is a race here next week. Nothing too technical, but you have to keep you eye on the trail at all times. Did three laps,fastest was a little over a half hour.

Review: Good trail, but currently in disrepair. Had to get off our bikes to climb over fallen trees repeatedly. A chainsaw crew should be sent out to clear out some of the debris from the recent hurricane.

Review: Road this trail with a Marine friend and a couple of his buddies back in September. I found it to be short, sweet, and a lot of fun. Definitely has some technical stuff, but nothing crazy scary. Got good flow, pretty fast ride. Could easily have done it twice.

Review: Ridden about two years ago now, not sure about the current status of the trail. I was a epic ride with tons of changes and bridges, would ride again. When I went we had to check in at front office to get ID and get a pass, took about 30mins or so, but it was worth it.

Review: Unless you know someone that works on Cherry Point you will not be able to get onto base to ride. If you are able to get on you will find it a fun, moderately challenging ride. There are several descents/ascents that are challenging but otherwise it is a rather easy course to ride. Good course based on the fact it is only 20 miles from the beach.

Review: Good overall trail. You can get 5 to 6 miles in depending on if you take both loops. Alot of roots and frequent incline and declines. The roots will get to you after a while

Review: My buddies and I love this trail. We are all beginners and we had a blast testing out lack of skills!! We know if we keep it up this trail can make us pretty good.
