At about 2 MILES Pfieffer Trail will turn LEFT along Madrone Springs Road gravel road, dumping out at the junction of Cooper Road and Madrone Springs.

Turn around and climb home, Woo Hoo you’re an animal if you don’t walk at least once. Back at the store refuel kicking it the shade, wondering why you so tired. What sounds like a simple 2000 feet of climbing is actually over 6000 feet of gain.
