Description: Trail runs north 3 to 4 miles then you turn and come back to start point. There is also some horse trails south from here but depending on weather can be ruff. Great little trail to ride during lunch or late afternoon. Upper section near the Visitor Center has some rolling hills but most of the trail is somewhat flat. There are several foot bridges and water bars. There are several of us police officers who ride this trail during the week off duty to stay in shape. Being former bike cops you never totally get it out of your system. I have found this ride will improve your road ride by at least 50% so if you road ride you should try it. Even if you are a beginner it will thrill you just to get out there.

This trail is part of the horse trails mentioned in the description. These trails are closed to Bikers. Check out Burning Sunshine at Elvis Presley Lake instead. You'll have a lot more fun.

I talked to the park ranger at the vistor center. He said that their trails was only for Hiking & horseback riding. No bikes. I did ride the trail starting at the Chickasaw Village it crossed a railroad track at the 7/10 of a mile point. There was a No Treaspasing sign at the crossing, so I had to turn around. Nice trail up to that point.
