Q: trail open? wet/ muddy/rideable? -k2oert
A: Yes trail open, 11-25-15. A few damp spots but mostly good , come enjoy
Q: What types of features does the expert section contain and how long is it? -Kuato
A: This section is not as difficult as it once was. Wooden features have been reworked and many widened. The original creek jump now has a lower ramp to land on. All improvements have been made to make this section to be more enjoyable by more riders. Most of the Mt. Zion trails are on private property and some features have been reworked more towards safety. Some riders might prefer a harder expert section and a new technical section may be built when the planned pump track is built. The local super star trail crew have built several new features and rebuilt or altered many of the older ones....again all done to ensure safety and maximum fun at Mt. Zion. Please come spend a day or more enjoying the trails.
A: A large drop, a really narrow spot on the side of a hill, an extremely narrow bridge, a pretty difficult climb, and a high bridge. I might be missing a few things, but that's what I remember. Isn't too long. Probably less than 1/4 mile.
