Review: This trail is great. I usually ride the Comite trail in Baton Rouge, LA. This trail is definitely a step up from what I'm used to and more technical. The trail basically has you climbing then descending over and over again. The technical features and fast downhill sections of this trail are what will bring me back. That guy who reviewed the trail on April 25, 2015 is a total mom and needs to go ride road bikes. The "dangerous" jumps are what made me love this trail so much. Plus, none of the jumps are more than 5 feet long which is actually not that big. You just carry some good speed through most of them. Also, I did not find that any of the berms were "too slick" or unnecessary. I thought this trail was a blast and will definitely be going back.

Review: Very fun! I'm a beginner and I didn't have any problems on the 9 mile loop other than having to walk up a few of the hills. Being a beginner, I skipped the Black Diamond sections just to be safe. There are many jumps, but they all have bypasses. For south Mississippi, the climbs can be a bit long, but they are rewarded with some really fun, fast downhill sections. There are roots, but nothing too bad, even on a hardtail. The bridges and wooden berms make the track loads of fun! Overall, well worth the 2 hour drive. I'll definitely be riding this trail again!

Similar Trail: As far as technical difficulty, about the same as Comite in Baton Rouge, although Comite's climbs are short and steep whereas Zion's are long and not as steep.

Review: Not the worst in state, but most definitely not the best. The crew there have made the best with what they have. That being said, every time I ride these trails I do not have a whole lot of fun and just want to get the ride overwith. Way too many roots, not enough smooth fun fast sections. Stupid dangerous jumps everywhere...though there are bypasses. There are some cool wooden berms and wooden trail sections. One exception is a huge slick berm that shouldn't be there...better to bypass this one. You'll know it when you see it.

Review: Superb trail, exceptionally well-kept; within reasonable distance from Northshore, NOLA, etc.
I cannot say i have ever been to a trail with a clubhouse before... let alone one stocked with popsicles for the kids. I did the 6mi with my daughter in tow on a tag-a-long and my wife trailing behind on her bike. All of the challenging sections had warnings and turn-offs.

Review: Just finished an awesome afternoon on a well maintained nicely marked trail. We did the 9 mile "rc" loop, nice climbs, fun decents, some jumps, bridges, berms. I will definitely be back in the future, well worth the drive in from mandeville!

Review: LIke others have mentioned, def. a diamond in the rough. Trails are extremely well marked! I enjoyed seeing signs of what's ahead before I got to a jump for example. Very well maintained trail and exciting trail to say the least. There were popsicles in the fridge for after the ride as well as picnic tables and a portapotty. Awesome! Be wary of spiders this time of year, there were a ton of webs. I didn't ride the Expert section, although I wish I took a peep of it while I was there.

Review: I'd call Mt. Zion a diamond in the rough. This trail is great. The crew who build/maintain are genuine and always hospitable. The trail design and flow is spot-on using the lay of the land to its maximum potential. Can't wait to return.

Review: This place is awesome!!!! Trails are in GREAT conditions. My son and I arrived around 6:30 am. We did the begginers trail to warm up and then proceded to do 6 miles of the intermediate trail. It was very cool. Challenging at times with a few nice climbs but always followed by exciting down the hills!! My hat is off to the guys that keep the trail up. They do a Great!!! Job. There is a box to deposite contributions to keep trail up and maintenance....make sure to put in some if you can. We will definetely be back!!!!

Review: The new Black Diamond sect is open!!! Several bridges have been rebuilt and new trails added to complete the section. There is new signage on all the trails. After a week of heavy rain the MZ crew have worked hard to get this trail in fantastic shape. Come by and have a great ride.
