Description: From the parking lot continue on Buffalo Creed Road, which is a fire road that
can be used by cars, so be careful on the way down. Morrison is the second
trailhead on the left that you will come to. Ride up Morrison Creek single track
to the junction of Shinglemill Creek. Quick twisty singletrack down Shinglemill
will bring you back to Buffalo Creek Road. From here you can head back to the
car or do one of the longer loops.

This is probably the best early season trail in Buffalo Creek because there's just a few trees and it seems to dry out very quickly; of course this means it's also very hot in the summer. I agree with the route given (Morrison Creek up and Shinglemill down), but I would also include Shinglemill south all the way to the Colorado Trail, at a minimum. It's not really technical, but it's a decent climb that really pays off with a fast roller coaster downhill. Maybe I'm weird, but the burn area makes for great desert-like trail conditions and unique scenery.
