Review: My favorite place to ride. They have everything you can imagine. The trails are awesome and loads of fun. There are tons 2 pick from so you wont be stuck on the same thing over n over. They are very well maintained. Lots to do. The current Wednesday nite rides start @ 6 and everyone is super friendly. Everyone is willing 2 help out w/ whatever is needed.

Review: I've been riding the trails at Moon Lake for some time, and they are fun. Some are pretty technical. Rocks, roots, switchbacks. elevations and downhills. Contrary to what old 666 says they are well taken care of. Anyone riding at the Moon in September had to realize that the area was totally flooded with tons of rain and a lot of wind that knocked many trees down in the park and on the trails. The guys did a great job clleaning up the mess . I've been there in September and October and aside from a little mud and a few leaves the trails are very rideable. Mud on trails in the Northeast in autumn is part of mountain biking. Again, great trails.

Similar Trail: Merli Sarnoski, Carbondale. Single tracks around Jim Thorpe.

Review: Rode these trails on Monday September 19th 2011. I had heard nothing but good things about these trails and couldn't wait to ride them. I was ( and my ride partner) very disappointed. It could be good. It could be GREAT. But I think the few people that do ride it can't take care of it.

Review: Moon Lake Park MTB trail network is fast gaining a reputation as some of the sweetest well kept trails in the area, we even blow off the leaves on the weekends! There are updated trail maps available at the park office, all the trails are marked with signs. There is also a skills/trials section called the Deacon that will test your bike skills. New trails are being added all the time, old trails are being groomed, added to and revamped constantly. There is a Wednesday evening ride that starts at 6PM and is really growing, on a recent ride we counted over 40 riders on the trail in the evening! The rides break off into several groups depending on your skill level, everyone is welcome to show up and ride, just park outside the main gate, the gate is locked at 8PM, but we can ride after that and we do!
