Description: Multiuse trail that follows the Minnesota River through oak-savannah from Belle Plain to Chaska, MN. Wide doubletrack that sometimes lacks a hardpack trail, but is usually mowed. Can be sandy in some spots. Scenic views of the River. There are some camping areas, and access points to National Wildlife Refuges (e.g., Louisville Swamp) and other public lands and trail systems.
