Description: The route Varies. There is sigletrack, fire roads Bmx jumps and sweet Downhill sections. I would not suggest riding alone!! I know lots of people who have sighted Mountain Lions!! Bring lots of water and know where you're going!

Update: These trails are on private property (Pacific Union College) and as such they are not officially sanctioned for riding outside 2 official races each year (Howell Mountain Challenge and Napa Valley Dirt Classic). Also, please avoid this trail on Saturdays out of respect to the landowners. No trail signs in this remote area, ride with extreme caution at your own risk.

I have to say that these trails are NOT in Las Posadas forest, so the name of these rides are incorrect. BUT, these are some of the best rides that you will find in the Bay Area. Amazing single tracks cover the entire property

Lots of winding singletrack if one knows where to look including a 3 mile basically nonstop stretch. Also people have been building stunts in various areas including 8' jumps and ramps, etc. Trails maintain really well even in the winter, hardly any mud on most of them except Lower Loop. Two races held yearly. Lots of poison oak in the area so beware. About mountain lions, they are around, but I've never seen one and been riding the trails for 15+ years.

Similar Trail: Annadel State Park

Great variety. Short linking trails between fire roads. Minimal user conflict with horses and hikers. Map shows college property. Go south into 4H camp for trail descents and fire road return.

Lots of new single track, Wish there was a parallel along ridge above over look not just straight downhill. One long single track miles long would be nice

Fun ride. There is some free ride stuff at one point off the main trail (burms, doubles, tree rides, etc.). There is some awesome switch back single track that goes on forever through manzanita groves. All of the above is not on any map.

This is always fun. good winter ride. Clinb out of Pope valley is not fun. Single Speed is good on north side
