Description: There are severla loops within the outside loop. This trial is new but, in ggod shape. Mostly single track with a few intermediate climbs. The views along the lake are nice and the available facilities in the area are as good as you will find.

I had the opportunity to ride the entire 11 miles this week and the trail is really sweet. Nice rolling hills and easy to maintain a good pace/speed. Great views of the Lake and even with all the rain here lately, the trail was in great shape. Thanks to Ken for all his hard work on this great asset to the area.

This trail was better than I expected. Fast rolling hills and switchbacks. Some good climbs esp. going up suicide hill. They have cut some new inside loops that are not as of yet on the map. Got a little turned around my second lap. Not the best marked, but soon got the layout figured out and really enjoyed hitting them over again. Their are alot of small top roots so dial your suspension in accordingly. Over all I wasn't disapointed making the drive and if you have time you can always sun bath and enjoy the lake. Very nice place. Great job guys!

This trail is great. If i had to put in a catagory I would say it a southeastern all-mountain trail. No we do not have mountains here, but this trail makes you feel like you are with the topography of it. It has some of everything on it. And gives you a work out to. Your legs will be burning when you get done. With it being on the huge lake (resevoir) there is a constant breeze that helps out the heat of the day.

Similar Trail: Bartram's in Tuskegee, but this is in way better condition and better maintained.

The picture added to this trail review is not accurate for lake West Point. The lake is nice, less the mountains.
