Mountain Biking Lake Springs Loop

A non technical twisty singletrack loop that is an off shoot of Bartram Trail with some good views of Lake Thurman. It used to be two smaller loops but the Corp. of Engineers re-routed it to one loop. At the far end of the loop there is a small conector to the Lake Springs boat ramp/picnic area.

from Augusta take Washington Rd north to Pollards Corner. Take a right onto Clarks Hill Rd (rt 150 /221) Look for the Corp. of Engineer Lake Springs Recreation area on the left hand side (about 3 miles) Take the turn, trail head is about 300 yard on the right. Bartram Trail crosses road at this location also. Loop is on the right hand side.
