Description: The trail is good single track. It seems like it gets a lot of use. It has short climbs and a few twisty parts. Nothing to serious. Some parts of the trail you can pick up and maintain some good speed and it makes the ride a blast. Anyone can ride this trail and have some good fun and good training value. You will not improve you technical skill on this trail but it is a good for ride for this area. The trail is maintained really well and decently marked. The trail also ties into Lamotte Creek trail and Wild Azelea trail. Seven miles one way. A really good trail for this area. You will not go home disappointed as I have with so many other trails in the area such as Wild Azelea. There are a few other trails in the national forest but I can not make a decent review because of the rain we have been getting in this area.

Rode this a few years ago while stationed at Ft. Polk. Found myself at a miss-marked section near the parking area and boat ramp where the trail ended. So I cut the ride short.

Similar Trail: Wild Azalea Trail

Best trail in Central LA. There are excellent trails on both the east and west sides of Kincaid Lake. There are several options for out and back rides or even loops. You can access the trail from the East Boat Ramp off Messina Rd or from the Recreation Area on the West side of the lake.

Similar Trail: The Wild Azalea is near and even has a spur off the Kincaid trail leading to it. It's not as well maintained and the flow of the ride just isn't as fun but if you're looking to add miles it's a decent option.

it is a fun trail, some spots are relaxed while others are fast paced and sketchy. my advice if its your first time go first 2 miles no problem then go slow and careful until you know the trail it gets better and harder.  few pretty spots along the way like wooden bridges, natural streams, and can walk to the lake in several spots. overall i love it and im shure you will to just dont underestimate it

Fun, Fast and few twists with some short climbs. A sure bet for a good ride in Central Louisiana.
