Description: The begining is part of a 4X4 playground but it is good for bike handeling and makes the first miles of warm up great. With the pacific ocean to your right keep riding until you come to the nature reserve and gate. Once there make sure to stay on the path, and ride it to the end. It splits halfway, the lower one is a nice ride but the upper one has a great view. Ride late in the afternoon to see a great Hawaiian sunset!

First 2 miles are a rutted, rocky workout. Past the boulders and gate is an absolutely beautiful coastline ride, albeit not the most challenging terrain. Be sure to stop and look around. At the 5 mile mark, you reach a parking area accessible from the other side and turn back. A couple spots where you must throw your bike on your shoulder and climb through the rocks, and some sand here and there. A great way to see the nature preserve.

Short fun ride with some varying terrain. Mostly roads featuring some whoops rocky ascents and descents and sandy ruts. Singletrack for short stretches is often sandy but mostly rideable.
