Description: Main trail is gravel road loop approximately 8 mi's. with branches up to 20 mi's. Wide open but is multi-use trail Wildlife sanctuary laws apply. Be very mindful and do not leave or take traces. Some narrow paths but be cautious of hikers/birdwatchers.
Fishing, Bird watching, exhibit. picnic tables, restrooms and many scenic views.
Newly refurbished and a wonderful day out for the whole family.

This more of a double track. Pretty flat and mostly gravel road. Great for the beginner and a lot to see. Have to watch out for the bird watchers on the preserve.

I was going to rate this trail a 1, but it grew on me as I went. In addition to the fire roads that make up the main trails, I found about 3 miles of fairly easy single track, but much of it was heavily overgrown. I got quite a few nettle stings and briar scratches for my effort. It's the wildlife encounters that elevate this track above 'lame' status. If you're observant, there's quite a bit to see here. The overall experience was worth more than the actual bike ride.
