Description: Consits of several types of terrain. From the challenging ridges that peak between two phosphate pits to the singletrack trails that wind through the forest. This trail has many challenges for the expert rider. This trail is riden by many people on Monday mornings. This trail is also by invitation only. Please contact the Ridge Riders Club for directions.
Cotton's trail is back! After the devestation of hurricane Charley it looked like a giant woodpile. Alot of hard work by Jimmy and his friends have reclaimed 6 or so miles of the most intense riding in FL! Narrow ridges (think the fingers at LHP or Carter Rd) in abundance, tough technical climbs, switchback climbs, off-camber, rocks, roots, steep drops, technical decents, you name it and it is there. Including a teeter-totter and a sliding bridge! This place is like combining the toughest sections of John Brown and Vortex (Santos), the old TOE, Carter Rd, and Moonscape and Gatorback (Alafia) into a 6 mile trail.

TO START: Jimmie Cotton can take a few MTBR's in to ride, but the owners do not want the responsibility of someone getting hurt or lawsuits. If anyone is interested in riding, call JCotton at (863)512-0346.
TRAIL REVEIW: UNBELIEVABLE!!!! Jimmie has put together a trail that is so very awesome (pure MTB bliss)! Climbs, drops, and ridges that are bonechilling!! GREAT STUFF! If you are lucky enough to get invited to his trail, bring water, gatorade, powerbars, an extra set of legs and lungs and a bike that can take a licken. You will be huffin and puffin but with a great big smile! Not for beginners! Super technical stuff where one could get hurt bad, and has. I experienced a rider go over the bars headfirst, land on nasty hard phosphate white-rock, crack his helmet and elbow, and then go over somersaulting over a HIGH ridge. It wasn't pretty. This place is just AMAZING!! My new Sinister r9 got it's first hard work out!! Can't wait to go back!!
