Description: Single track on both sides of the railroad track. On the right near the top there are several significant jumps and drops. This tends to get sloppy in the winter, so expect some mud. It is in close and a good way to burn a couple of hours. Mostly up hill on the way out and a more enjoyable trip back.

Traveling N on 525 towards Mukilteo turn right on 5 th street and travel just about one mile. Trailhead is signed and will be just off road on right side. Nice little trail system. More trails and more fun than I anticipated, I rode almost 12 miles and never really hit the same route twice. All the trails are basically within a box with a canyon/creek/RR tracks running through it N to S. None of the trails are marked however I don’t see any way you could get lost here, parking at the main trailhead puts you at the bottom of the hill and the south end of the gulch next to the highway. So finding your way back is as simple as heading down hill. A lot of trails are cut into the steep sides of the canyon and are real prone to erosion. However most of the trails weren’t as wet as I expected- not to say there wasn’t some bad spots, plenty of them, but there is also evidence people have been up there working on some of the worst ones. Weekends see lots of people w/their dogs so share the trails.

just did this trail again. there's much going on both sides of the tracks. there are many spots to start, but recently i got into starting at the 44th ave w/76th st sw intersection, heading down into the cul-de-sac and riding around there (west side of tracks), then hike back up the tracks, and hop in on the left right before you get to boeing (east side of the tracks) then ride it all the way back around and down. not very hard stuff but fun little ride after work... that's for sure.

did the trail on june 26 2010 and found it to have a nice size hill with mudd to start. Once to the top it became a really fun easy trail for a new person to the sport. there's two areas with out of this world jumps (to big for a beginner). Ride it!!!!!!!!!

Still muddy in some spots. For a newbie, it wasn't to hard, there are some technical areas, but for the most part avoidable on the upper hill on the south side of the tracks there is a cool track of monster jumps (just looked, didn't try them) that someone spent a ton of time making. On that side we found that the trails all seem to lead in loops and had a great time riding. We parked in the Jap Gulch gravel area then rode up the tracks for about a 1/2 mile. Take the trail on the south and head across the creek and have a go(steep hill).

the trial can get really sloppy after a day of rain, or even days after a day of rain. There are some technical parts of this ride and some easier ones too. i like to start up by the boeing activity center then work may way around. coming back up sucks, but it's worth the ride. keep your head up!
