From US-127 head west towards downtown Ithaca (Center St.) Turn left (south) on South River Rd. and follow the signs to the fairgrounds. Turn right into the fairgrounds then stay left as the road forks. Head straight back to the huge tree in the middle of the field. The trailhead is right ahead. No toilet or shower facilities available unless one of the fairs or horse shows are happening.
