Trail Description
About this trail
This trail is mostly singletrack but requires some single lane logging road riding to complete the loop. Expect long climbs, remote areas, technical riding, short hike a bikes, and great scenery and views. The loop includes portions of trails 110, 105, 106, and 113 which are in the headwaters of Hughes Creek. Riders should be intermediate or better skills with good stamina and carry lots of water.

Review: This is a remote Idaho ride and is best done with a shuttle up to the Butcherknife Ridge trailhead. It is best ridden in a clockwise direction for the best flow and climbing. A significant portion of the trail was involved in a forest fire in 2012 so there may be downfall across the trail if it hasn't been cut out yet. There is some nice narrow singletrack along this trail with some steep climbs or descents. Some real nice flow too.

Similar Trail: Van Horn Creek Trail.
