Description
There are alot of little trails here, and I've only ridden about half of them. Most are dirtback or ATV tracks and are pretty loose rock. The better ridiing is when you travel away from the lake across a small wooden bridge. After battling uphill on the loose rocks, the riding becomes a bit more fun for a mile or so on the dirtbike tracks, especially the downhill and wall riding. You'll come out on an old fire road. This goes for miles, but there are little trails off and on that you can try out. A fun ride, but nothing extraordinary.

Review: Standing by the statement of Howe working in a pinch. You can get in an hour of riding from the random trails here and there and just exploring. There's no semblance of network or flow, and it wasn't designed as such. The south side has some MTB-friendly trails, but they quickly give way to the frequented dirtbike passages.

Review: If you're going to ride Howe, do it in the spring before the dirtbikes tear it to pieces. Much of the trail and doubletrack is covered in loose rocks, and the climbs and drops are pretty rough due to the 2-wheeled engine beasts! Not really a great ride, but works in a pinch.
