Description: This is a short trail, usually very sandy unless it's rained. The "bowl" has little drop offs that are pretty fun, and there's a few trails running a mile or so. Even if it hasn't, there's usually plenty of water to go in :)

I find it easier to park at the Loblolly environmental facility just north of University on 34th St. Right as the 3 lanes merge into one going North on 34th,there is a Green park sign and it is there on your right. There are only 3 parking spaces there so you may need to continue North past 8th Ave. and park at Westside Park and cross the street. From the Loblolly trailhead there is some wide singletrack before it narrows and comes to a nice wide boardwalk. There is an overlook to the left before the boardwalk and if you make a U-turn to the right and follow the creek there is another section of singletrack that loops to the beginning so I hit it on the way back.Once you come to the end of the boardwalk it is doubletrack and just on the left is the entrance to the singletrack to the bowl. There is a trail that surrounds the bowl and a small series of hirt jumps in the bowl with drops into it around the edge.Following the singletrack around the bowl will bring you back to the doubletrack near 8th Ave,take a right,or North and go to the road.At the road,to the left is a crosswalk that is suggested for crossing,I would use it.Once across the street go Right or East 1/4 mile on the sidewalk and there is another boardwalk to the left that is very scenic, high quality, decent in length and slippery when wet as is the other boardwalk.Once the boardwalk ends you can go further up the doubletrack and before it ends, on your left is another singletrack trail that loops back to the boardwalk through some very interesting scenery with about 3 log crossings. When coming back to the boardwalk there is almost a continuation of that trail that crosses the doubletrack but there are a couple downed trees and it is in need of some trailblazing. The area is protected so please do not cut anything, just find alternate routes if you must.Upon returning, after the short boardwalk, there is a trail to the left right next to Hogtown Creek.Pass a bench and head up the trail for a nice ride that stays close to the creek and has some very nice scenery. There are a few fallen trees on one section but I believe it finally loops back out toward the parking lot where you enter from. The bowl can be fun for small drops and a few jumps but overall it's a slightly short ride. I wouldn't drive a long distance but it's worth seeing if you're in the area or live close and need to hit some dirt.
