Description
Hickory Ridge offers 46.7 miles of a variety of intertwining long and short loop trails through scenic hardwoods. The trails are designated multiple-use, allowing hiking, biking and horseback riding.

Trail signs at intersections make navigating the system easier. In addition, at some intersections, signs showing the entire system with "you are here" markers assist trail users in orienting themselves.

Small ponds are scattered throughout the Hickory Ridge system.

Review: I didn't think this trail was worth my time. It took me a while to find the trail due to some road construction but it is still accessible. I got to the trail head an realized that it is primarily a horse trail system. I still got on the bike and tried it out. I ended up only riding a few miles due to how badly the trails were torn up by horses. I didn't think they would get better so I turned around. Maybe I should have given it a chance for a little longer, but it didn't seem like the conditions would improve.

Review: Some brutal climbs and very fun downhills. It is shared with horses so the ones closer to the horse camp can be sloppy and rutted. Trails 15-20 have been used in recent years for bike events and I have really enjoyed these sections, it really gives you the feel that you are in the backwoods as it is as groomed as some of the other trails in the area.

Review: Nice network of fire roads, gravel roads, and singletrack. Some of the low lying trails get sloppy during the wet season and there is a lot of horse traffic that chews up the trail some. Interesting ride for an all day trip. Pack some food!
