Description
Approximately 11 miles worth of tight, technical singletrack. Trails pop in

and out of the woods and are essentially bisected by a power line

easement. Lots of off camber stuff and roots. Climbs are short but can be

steep and punchy in places. Trail caretaker does a GREAT job making this

place feel welcoming with a picnic area at the parking lot and a few chairs

and tables placed along the trails for rest areas.

Review: Looooots of roots. Plenty of technical sections so it's impossible to get much of a flow. Time limitations didn't allow me to hit all the trails, so I'll definitely go back. Like the set up with the tech trails breaking off of the main trail, so the parking lot is never far away. Good ride.

Review: Great, lovingly cut trail. This place truly captures mountain biking--tough, rooty, twisty singletrack, with a few good gnarly climbs to keep you honest. West 6.6 miles of trail drain very well, good number of stream crossings, and the HAMMERHEAD options are a must. East 1/2 of the trails was soggy after a good hard rain, but isnt mud the point of mountain biking? Sockman keeps a stocked cooler at the 1/2way point with cold water, gatorade, and enough fuel to get you through MOSQUITO CROSSING and GUT BUSTER. This trail is a MUST-RIDE. Hot showers, ample picnic space, and a changing area await you at rides end! Don't complain, don't take the short-cuts, just RIDE!

Review: Nice hand cut trails with a good amount of mileage. The Corry House, located 2.5 miles east, also has another 8 miles. Hart Farm trails are all pretty twisty with a decent amount of somewhat technical areas due to roots, rocks, and tight trees. If you aren't into twisty, rooty rides this one won't be for you. Trails are well marked. Lots of small short cuts but you didn't come all the way out here just to cut the ride short, did you? The western half of the trails drain better and were more well ridden than the eastern half, but the eastern half also looks to have been built much more recently.
