Description: Nice singletrack with downhills, climbs, and multiple creek and log crossings. Multiple routes available and well marked with paint on trees.
A varied and fun trail. I checked out the Red trail, the Downhill section, and the Blue trail. The climbs are great for the area, and the trails are pretty well groomed. The Downhill is lots of fun with some good sized gaps and drops. The whole place rates a little more technical than a lot of others I have ridden in the area that provide a family friendly "beginner-intermediate-advanced" set up. Nice job by those who maintain this trail. I rode on a Monday and there was very little traffic on a perfect day, but beware of hikers visiting the Fort. Very well marked and the board had lots of maps.
GREAT RIDE! I was there right as fall came. The trail was a bit slippery with the leaves and rain. They did a great job marking the trails with paint on trees. Tough climbs and awesome down hills.
I went with a friend 10/13 and spent the afternoon riding single track that can only be described as awesome!! I was impressed with the time and effort that was put in to make the jumps and banked turns. They were made from logs with dirt fill or rocks. There are some steep climbs but the descents more than make up for it. Just be prepared to suck wind!

I did this trail while passing through the area and was looking for a quick ride -- boy was I surprised! There are some seriously rugged climbs here, with tons of sweet log jumps and some unbelievable downhill. Be prepared for a serious workout, and I would discourage beginners from this trail due its difficulty and some tight sections right next to dropoffs.
