Description
The ride is mostly old logging roads that follow the ridgeline of Duncan road. Nice views of the surrounding pastures to start out. Too bad most of this is on pavement. Then the next 15 miles finish you with a gradual climb through the old forest roads to the top of the ridge and you finish with about three miles of downhill riding back to your car.

Review: For a gravel road ride, the Duncan Ridge section was actually pretty entertaining with a ton of rocks and waterbars to catch air off of. The lower cooper creek section, however, was smoother and much more boring, and the paved section... well of course that was boring. But the way I rode the trail (parking at the top of Wolf Pen gap and starting with the gravel and finishing with the pavement and paved climb), the smoothness and speed of the pavement was a relief... until the climb up Wolf Pen.

Review: Forest road riding that's always available, even rainy days. At 20.5 miles, you'll definitely be able to strech your legs and the pastures and Chattahoochee National Forest will certainly provide scenery. This ride could easily be done on a Cross bike but a little suspension made the Ride down from the ridge a bit more enjoyable. Too bad there's no legal singletrack to ride in the area. The terrain is perfect for it.
