TRAIL REVIEWS   review this trail

I was in town for the weekend (from WI), and I rode this trail this past weekend on recommendation from the local bike shop. Had a blast! Spent about 2 hours on the trails, going every which way. The ladder bridges were fun, but not overly challenging. They were visually intimidating on first run, but not hard to ride. It was a little wet in places, so I practiced my mudding skills. Some of the technical hills were impossible with the mud. You go fast, slow, and everything in between. It's not a long trail, but it kept my interest for 2 hours. I highly recommend this trail for a good workout, and to let some aggression out. Can't beat it for being in town (behind YMCA).

Lots of overgrowth on this tight path. Got lost twice. At around .8 miles, opens into ATV paths. It was nearly impossible to know which way to go, but I picked a path (presumably the wrong one) as there eventually came a hill that I could hardly walk the bike up. Didn't see any arrows, so definitely go with someone who knows the trail (because we had to turn around due to getting lost).

This trail is fast when it's dry/frozen. It's a 4.7 mile loop. The fastest lap time that I know of is around 22 minutes. Several short, technical climbs along with a few good decents. Many bridges that will give you goosebumps when you go over them. I recommend going with someone who knows the trails well first because it can be confusing. If you get lost, try and follow the orange/yellow dots or arrows on the trees.
