This trail is fairly flat. Road it next day after a rain, and it was rather wet but still fun. The blue loop is generally easy with a few rock gardens and log piles. The orange section is the hardest by far with a lot of rock gardens. Check out my ride here http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=1298411

Great trail for the area. Fairly flat and wide all around but the technical areas will definitely try your skills.

Edit** Just want to add there is a sign in the parking lot that notifies users you will need a State Forest Use Permit for MTB. Also noticed this trail stays wet longer than other trails in the area. So plan on giving it a couple more days after rain and snow to dry out. Not a lot of relief for drainage** Fun, with some challenging sections. Convenient to RT 66 and the Gainesville area. Great for a quick once around or if you really want to get a workout in just keep linking up the loops. I gave it a 3 because there are other better trails out there but honestly I'd feel real comfortable telling most average weekend riders it is a 4.* Review edited 8/22/2010* Review edited 2/21/2011

I came here expecting it to be totally lame. In fact, there was some great riding in this little parcel of land. Most of it is clearly beginner territory, but there are some challenging stretches. Be sure to hit the Little Bull Run trail in the northeast corner of the area. It has a couple tight switchbacks and some great rock moves. There's only about 4 miles of singletrack in total with another mile or two of doubletrack, but if you're willing to do a couple laps, you can get in a good hour of riding.
