Description: Great single track. Very narrow in sections. Has just about everything. I've read that there are 11 miles of trails, but the loop was about 7.5 for us. Not many climbs, but was a great trail overall. Kudos to the TTB for keeping it up. Be aware of the loose sand, and ride it more than once to learn where the jumps are located.

This is a great trail. This is the trail I started mountain biking on, and it's still one of my favorites. Not much elevation change, but some nice little jumps and LOTS of roots make for a fun, if slightly bumpy ride. Really just a great, enjoyable trail. Would reccomend to beginners for a fun trail to learn on, and for more experienced riders who want to a fun trail to tear through after work. Love it!

Hey I live right off the trail. Its pretty much my backyard. I grew up on these trails. They are my favorite place to be. I highly recommend them for learning. They can be challenging for beginners but also a lot of fun. The trail does not take over 2 hours usually. It takes me an hour usually and I am not a fast rider. I love this trail, especially the black diamond section. I can't get enough of it.

Great singlespeed park. Nothing too hard. Very well maintained. Races are held here and TarHeel Trailblazers maintain so its well marked. It may take a couple of outings to get it figured out.

This is definitely a beginner trail - even the intermediate (blue) sections are relatively easy for anyone used to trail riding. Like every trail though, there's a spot or two that may catch you off guard so don't take the trail for granted. Trail is poorly marked in some places and there's too many offshoots. You also criss-cross and ride parallel to the road too much. Still, perfect for beginners and leisurely rides.

Flat by fun. Pretty rooty over half the trail so you get bounced around quite a bit.

I like the trail options, you can choose beginner, intermediate or advance circuit. Nice fast sections.

Its a descent Trail. I wouldn't go out of my way to ride it but it's a good ride. Its easy, Even when its raining. For me the trail isn't interesting enough but its close by. Over all it is a good ride.

ride the trail in reverse near the log bridge section and the downhill is curvy and much better than the uphill version. when you approach the log bridge section there is a great air spot but watch out for the tree on your left when you air it out. it caught me the first time. fun ridden with the flow great ridden against the flow.

A great place for both beginners and the intermediate rider. It's a circular trail that has a Green main loop, with more challenging options for those looking for something a bit more technical. A great place to take someone on their first few mtn rides, or to ride for a fast cardio workout.

Well maintained trails in a well maintained county park. No fees.

Take I-77 to I-485 E exit 57;2.8 miles from I-485 take Providence road toward Charlotte(left at end of off ramp); less than mile, turn right onto Mckee rd, then at 2nd light turn right onto Weddington road; park is .5mile on right. Well maintained, fast single track with several good jumps. Several tight corners on the black diamond and blue trails. Also a fun set of steps near soccer field. Cons: poorly marked trailhead entrance;watch out for dog walkers.

Trail starts behind the paddle boat area. Track is a one way trail with some technical work (logs, stones in path). Trail would be reasonably difficult for a beginner, somewhat been there done that for a veteran, but at the same time a pleasure to ride. Well maintained and marked.

Drive all the way to the back of the park, park by the lake/community center. At the back of that parking lot there is a double-track trail along lake(100-150 yards) leads to trail loop access - you'll see the trail arrows/blazes. Fun trail that you can go fast on in many sections! There are a few very fast sections(by Soccer Fields) and on the south part of the loop, you have to try not catching air in a few places!! There are several obstacles included along the trail - log jams and a few bridges. Southern part of loop is like a mini roller coaster in many sections, there a couple places where the trail splits and rejoins so gives you some options. Overall... fast, hard packed, and lightly technical. Only a few sections are excessively rooty. There is a challenging uphill switchback section that really gives a decent workout for your legs and lungs! I've noticed people out jogging and walking(with dogs) on the trail - keep an eye out for them. Get out and show that there is a strong MTB presence out there...just do it politely! ;-) There's a trail map posted at the back parking lot.

Fun overall track, some small climbs, tight spots and some fun jumps. Once you learn it you can pick up the speed and let it rip!

This used to be one of my favorites to escape solo, nice and quick, some tough spots but overall not too demanding. A nice place to zone in on carving your turns and controling your speed.

This trail has been nicely maintained by a local Mtn Biking club. The main loop is only mildly technical, so it's a good place for beginners like me. There is also a spur trail that offers a more challenging ride to more experienced riders (take a left at the fork right past where the softball field construction is). More trails are also scheduled to be constructed. Overall, a great place to ride.
