Review: Rode what I could find of the trail. Extremely overgrown. This trail is a bootleg track with logs down over numerous parts. Impossible to maintain speed and flow. I will not be back.

Review: It's been a couple years since I've last rode this trail, and I was excited to find that it was still in great condition! There was one major tree down, but log overs have been built on most of the tree crossings, and there even has been a little reroute built around some logging/grading that had been done. Such a great trail, so glad I got the opportunity to ride it again!

Review: Very technical single track, with lots of steep climbs and tight switchbacks. Adding this trail to my weekly riding schedule greatly improved my riding on other trails. Not a good trail for downhill riders.

Review: I don't know what the heck people are used to riding around here but so far I've found nothing special. This trail is quite overgrown in spots, there are a number of downed trees that will stop you, spider webs everywhere, good lord. The only thing I can say is that there are 1 or 2 spots where you can get some decent speed. Overall, a rough riding day!! So far Georgia has not impressed me.

Review: Directions to trailhead: From the Loop in Athens, get off at the chase street exit. The trail starts under a powerline behind a gate on the northside (outside) of the loop. (The service road heading west). trail starts in between where the road forks. For reference, trailhead directions to Chase street have been available for years at http://trails.mtbr.com/cat/united-states-trails/trails-georgia/trail/PRD_167567_4541crx.aspx and http://mtobikes.com/chase-street-mountain-bike-trail-athens-ga/ Put on your trail scouting goggles and find all the sections of trail
