Description: This is a multi-use trail but from the looks of things horses rule these trails. Trail is overgrown in areas but it's generally pretty easy to follow. There's a creek crossing and some short, steep climbs but otherwise nothing special here. Be sure to fill out a self-service permit at the trailhead and note the hunting closures. Restroom facilities in the parking area with real flush toilets!

One big loop from the parking lot thats heads down near the lake/pond. Mostly double track that seems to grow back to singletrackish conditions after a continued period of negligence. The blue "granite" outcrop hiking trail loops up to then end of the bike trail but stay off as it is hiking only. Saw a couple horse prints but no bike tracks on the multi use trail. Signs were out in th parking lot stating that the trail will be closed shortly for logging in the area.

Similar Trail: Sope Creek. Yellow River.

This would be a solid beginner's trail if it wasn't for a few short, steep climbs and a creek crossing near the beginning of the trail. Still, it's one of the only places to ride off road in the area and the short length makes it appropriate for anyone starting out - you can always push the bike on the tough parts :)

Similar Trail: Bartram Forest in Milledgeville.
