Description: Mountain bikes are restricted on most of the trails at Cedarock Park. There is one trail specifically meant for mountain bikers, the outer loop is for horse use, and the remaining trails are mainly for pedestrian traffic. Take caution if you decide to take the bridle trail because horses can be spooked easily. So, RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK! There are several trails to explore though there is no simple way to combine them in one big loop. Luckily, there is a trail map at the start of the red trail and mountain bike trail. The singletrack is rooty at parts and only slightly technical overall. On the yellow trail there is a lovely waterfall.

No where near 6 miles of trail! Mountain bike trails are no more then 1.5 miles. and nothing but roots!!!

As stated in the only other review if you like spider webs and roots roots, and roots then give the trail a try. Now for the verdict the trail is to short to be worthwhile the only maintenance look liked it came from the once and a while ride it gets every now and than I rode the trail because I needed something new to ride so I said what the hell. The only good point of the trail is it fills like you are just riding through the woods on an off beaten path. If you do ride this trail combine it with another one on the way home so you wont be completely disappointed.

This trial was a big disappointment. First of all every map in the park shows a different route for the bike trail, assuming you can read the maps. Second the trail is obviously never used. Itís only 1.25 miles long and there is a spider web literally every twenty feet or so. It got so bad that I had to walk it waving a stick before I rode. And these are not just a few strands across the trail; these are large, full and round ñ each with its own large red spider in the middle. There are several forks in the trail and no signs (posts but no signs) telling where to go. Getting lost is not a big deal because the trail is so short but stillÖ There are two ìcreekî crossings but the gnarliest part of the trail reminded me of riding down a wheelchair ramp. I suppose it should be noted that I am new to the area and this is a step down from the single tack of PNF and DSF that I am used to in the mountains of NC. Overall this is a good trail if you want to take you 3rd grader for a bike ride and teach him about spiders.
