Start the trail 100 yards from the parking area on the right side of the road. Head straight up and follow the entire trail in a loop back to the parking area. Part of the trail will follow the 4 wheel drive road down from the radio towers. Look for the singletrack to head off to the right and continue the loop.

Trail is excellent, but is rocky in spots. Deer are sure to be seen in this area.

Review: Unless you have time to waste or some weird checklist like "Ride at least one trail near every Colorado town", avoid this trail. BLM trail design and construction at its worst. You'd be better off riding around in the town of Craig, hoping curbs and jumping park benches.

Review: This trail is the only thing close enough to Craig for a quick ride. It is loose at the bottom coupled with a steep climb, and very tight switchbacks. On top there is quite a lot of rocks to transverse wich is challanging but fun! It's not a beginners trail....

Review: Not much fun but it's the only bit of single track I've found in the vicinity. Good views from the top. Very sandy on the downside of the loop.
