Description: From Pine Ridge campground access the trail at the trailhead just across the park road from the restrooms. The trail is single track starting out but after a few miles there is a mix of singletrack, doubletrack, and gravel roads to complete the loop. Many sections have heavy damage from horse use. There are reroutes and new trail planned for the near future.

There is about 4-5 miles of new trail in the Pine Ridge Campground area. More trail upgrades are planned. Outside of this new tread the trail is very eroded in places and shows heavy evidence of horse usage. It is difficult to navigate the entire loop because of offshoot trails and limited use in many areas. This trail has great potential but needs much help.
