The acceptable uses of the trail include a combination of activities that are non-motorized. Biking, Cross Country Skiing, Day Hiking, Snowshoeing, Fishing, Duck Hunting (during respected seaon), Running / Jogging, Canoeing / Kayaking. The Trail itself is a straight-a-way path that runs for a complete 4 miles, with the water by your side, and odd stone sculptures you are sure to have a pleasant trip!

Getting there
From Route 127 in Colchester, turn on Porter's Point Road. Turn left at the four-way stop onto Airport Road. About a mile from the intersection is Airport Park. Park here and start down the trail that runs along Airport Road. The trail soon turns into the woods and runs along Colchester Bog. Shortly after crossing Mills Point Road (be sure to stop and look), you will be out on the lake.
