Description
Bump & Grind is a fairly wide open trail that starts with some pretty steep

climbing with tight switchbacks. After leveling off a bit you have really great

bench-cut singletrack through the mountainside with incredible views of the

city. It finally turns into a long doubletrack climb to the top of the mountain.

When you get to the top you can take turn back or try the even steeper,

more technical Hop Along trail down. Fast in some areas, white knuckle,

brake riding in others. Be careful, some areas leave little margin for error.

Review: Climbs are tough, switchbacks are tight, B&G will test both your skills and your endurance even at it's short 3 miles. Great views, well-maintained but very open. No shade to take a break. Get to the top and choose Hop Along down for an even wilder ride, but hold on and make sure one fingers on the brakes!
