Description: Short loop of singletrack. Winding trail with some roots and rock. Not much for hills, but there is steep, short climbing. Beginners can do most of it, I think. There are Creek crossings too. Well maintained. Do as many laps as you want.

Oklahoma earth bike fellowship has done alot of maintenance and improvement to the trails within the last few months. The trail has been smothed over, dirt added and is a quicker/better ride. There is also a partially completed new trail in the back portion by the large dirt red clearing that is worth a ride. As far as convenience, location, having a great trail, and having something for everyone at all skill levels, bluff creek cant be matched.

If you are in the okc metro you can not beat the proximity and convenience of bluff creek. in my opinion: bluff creek would be a light-intermediate difficulty with the exception of some technical areas- mainly the complex root systems unique to bluff creek and very tight switchbacks. It is a shorter ride at between 4-5 miles for the entire loop and is can be a very fast ride. Yet, it offers enough challenge for seasoned experts to be entertained but has bailouts and is forgiving enough for even newbs. There are also rumors of a new branch to the trail opening tbd.

Work on the trail has continued over the past couple years and a lot of improvements made. It's faster and smoother where it counts, plenty of new jumps available but still enough twists and turns to keep you on your toes. Great trail for one that's in a city park.

Nice tight turns, shady, with some rollercoaster like up and downs. A fun ride, but some big roots...so be careful and pay attention to where you are going. Also be aware of other riders...popular place.

Been riding this trail on wallyworld bikes since 2001, Finally got a Trek-lol. Its tight and twisty, and has been a great workout in prep for other longer trails like Clearbay More photos of Bluffcreek here: http://s632.photobucket.com/albums/uu49/4OEF/Bluff%20Creek/

Hats off to to the city and all the people who made it happen. Having a trail this good inside the city limits is something to be proud of. Trail is not west coast techincal, but has lots of roots and short drops. Parts of the trail are flowing and some of it is very tight. Well marked and easy bail outs if you'r over your head. Best thing is's a one way trail, worst thing it's only 4 miles long. Did 2nd loop in 23 min. which included unwraping myself from a tree.

Pretty good trail. They put some thought into this one. Pretty technical in some spots and plenty of tight turns and drops. I don't recommend beginners go alone. I will definately ride this one again!

This is the best trail in NW OKC. It's a single track surrounded by doubletrack. The single track has some nice ups and downs with some rooty climbs and a few winding sections that take a bit of finesse. In my opinion, it's a nice skill builder. Shouldn't be ridden after a rain for the sake of the trails and watch for trailwalkers in the evening.

Interesting article on this trail on the IMBA site about a lawsuit involving an improperly maintained trail bridge. Read the article.

A pretty cool slice of tight single track in the OKC area. It has tight turns, small rooted climbs, some cool drop-ins, and even a decent jump. I wish it were a bit longer though.
