Description: Blue Diamond is were you will find some incredible high desert singletrack. The firm desert floor makes the tight twisty trails fast and they go on for miles. There are some good climbs and switch backs on the south side of the road that offer great views of Vegas, or stay on the north side and enjoy relatively flat trails that will make anyone smile. If you are looking for a challenge take the Late Nite trail on the north side. I found it to be the most technical in the park with a good climb from the parking lot and some good rock riding on the way down. Be sure to find a loop though the town of Blue Diamond. It is like a oasis in the desert. Take a camera and alot of water!!!

Very nice with some loose sand areas, rocky sections and climbs.

Wasn't expecting all that much but was pleased with how fun the BD trails were to ride. It was easy but truly fun to ride.

I was just there last weekend 4.11.09 and was impressed with the new parking lot!! The trails were in great shape, I road to the south and took dead horse loop which is well worth the climb. This is trully a great excuse to tell the wife we need to go to Vegas!!!

Rode "Landmine Loop" on 3/14. What a blast, I'm still a beginner/novice and this is a fantastic trial. Very rocky at some points but the scenery and the trail is amazing! Can't wait to go back and hit some of the other tracks!

Very cool set of trails. The thorns will jump out at ya if you don't watch it but beyond that it's a great set of trails. The views are gorgeous and there is a great little resturant at the ranch down the road for a post ride beer.

Great desert single track area with lots of trail options ranging from fast & swoopy to slow & technical with most of the later up higher on the hillsides. I would advise going into the community of Blue Diamond just off of Red Rocks rd to the bike shop there were you can pick up a map & supplies or even rent bikes if you need to. You can park and ride right from there. Take lots of water and be careful in the heat of summer. I seen a couple different versions of up-to-date maps that were pretty accurate, there isn’t any signage on the trails themselves but its really hard to get lost.

No longer living in the area, but when I was I loved going here after work, not far from Vegas. It was a great trail with flat spots to get your speed up and a lot of downhill to kick in the adrenaline. Unfortunately, my last time at the trail the rocky downhill at the end got the best of me and I wound up with a broken collarbone :(

great typical desert singletrack. right by Vegas city limits. if you know trails you can go for miles and miles to some remote areas, or see Vegas lit up at night from one of the higher trails. easy, mostly smooth uphills and downhills. you can pick up some speed if you know the trail. occasionally you can see a burro(makes interesting sounds) and/or other wildlife. there is no shade to hide from the Sun so be prepared.
