Description: From the school bus turn around head N. W on washboard dirt road stay on main track will climb a slight rise at about 1 mile you should see Bedell Flat and the Dogskins . You should see some UNR range projects on your right while heading out . These are pretty visible and should keep you from getting lost. Continue on main jeep trail heading west and downhill . Pass 2 dirt roads on your right take the 3rd one heading NE . At the second stock tank turn right and head up slight hill to rocky knob . Continue down the other side and turn left at bottom and back to your car . Another option turn left at stock tank and head towards Dry Valley Rd. turn right on Dry Valley go downhill @1 mile over cattle guard look for road on right @ 200' past cattle guard go up hill . Stay on main track cross another cattle guard go left and back to your car or straight then left and back to you car . These trails have less than 500' of climbing but lots of sand and some bad washboard at start and end. Bedell Flat is very pretty and you can often see wild horses , antelope and deer . First ride would be @ 6 miles from bus turn around , second ride 9 miles . There are endless variations on these trails . Other than the sand they are safe and fun for beginners .
