Description
Take either the blue trail (single track), white trail (single track/hike a bike), or

the fire road all the way up to the old casino. From there if you keep taking

the fire road it will take you up to the fire tower. Once at the fire tire there is

nothing but fast down hill in any direction.

Review: Basically a downhill course. Use to be an old ski mountain. I suggest you go with someone who has been. Best trail is to take the fire trail up or the blue trail to the top and then blaze on down.

Review: If you search other reviews, you will find that the trail system is divided into three categories: red, white, and blue. I didn't find any marker that identified anything but the one trail, which is marked by the Hudson Valley Hiking Club. I should have hiked. The trail width is typical singletrack, but this is first and foremost a hiking trail, strewn with the typical rocks and boulders of upstate NY that make navigation not worth the trouble on an MTB. I'm sure for the locals, the trails are well known, but for me-- coming from out of town-- this was one big bust. I will try a different trail in the area next weekend (and report on it).
