Description
A heavily wooded single track jaunt through the center of Austin. I said out and back but if you pay special attention you can find numerous trails which connect to the trail proper. The more time you spend on the trail the more systems you will find. Take a break at the falls for a swim but be careful not to inhale.

Review: As many reviewers mention, this trail has it all. However, make sure that is what you want. We are really advanced intermediates, and found this trail quite frustrating. While it can be challenging to intermediate riders, there are still lots of hike-a-bike. The trail is also not well marked, so you WILL get lost trying to follow the right trails that are better for riders. (This was our first and only ride. One local said it took him probably 30 rides to find the right line.) He mentioned austinbike.com for more info.
Trail has very little "flow" due to all the technical sections every few 100 feet.
Trail is very busy, even Christmas eve day.

Review: This trail has it all...there is some great!! technical riding in this area to be explored. Sweet 16, "Hill of Life" climb/descent and the trails starting at the hill of life and descending that I don't know the name of all are great riding. This trail should be rated much higher. It was some of the best riding I have done in the country with all the technical riding/distance/ and ability to ride with many local riders. You could ride this area all your life and never get tired of it. The best part it is easily accessible from downtown Austin! This trail has green sections, blue sections and black diamond. You can really improve your skills by riding all these trails on a regular basis.

Review: Another Austin trail with something for everyone. Not a lot of elevation change (aside from the Hill of Death.. err.. Life). There are enough technical sections to keep experienced riders occupied, but also enough smooth singletrack to keep the younger/less experienced riders from getting too discouraged.

Review: I live nearby so frequent BC Greenbelt trails. This is a great technical trail for beginners and experts alike. The latter should stay of the main trails as there is a lot of ped traffic.

Review: Nice ride with alot of hiker traffic, especially on wkends. Made it up Hill of life on the rigid singlespeed. Good technical rocks in various areas.
