DescriptionSome great single track can be accessed from two trailheads - The Barracks Lane Trailhead and the Cheney Trailhead. Trails here travel in the foothills of the Lemhi Mtn. Range.
Trails litter this area and it is fun to explore all the cow and game trails.
At this point in time there are two main rides here; The Baker Creek Loop and Mulkey Creek.
Baker Creek is a lollipop ride of mostly singletrack. Mulkey Creek is an out-and-back (though it can be looped once you are familiar with some of the other trails).
The BLM has slated this area for some trail improvements in 2012. We should see some new loops and many miles of options!
2011 Note: The cows were tough on the trail at the trailhead this year, basically obliterating it. So from the gate cross the little wash and immediately hang a right. You will see the trail contour the hill and parallel the road on the other side of the fence. After the hill, the trail pass a sign and heads up into the sage toward the foothills.
