Trail Description
About this trail
This network of trails has a little of everything except big hills. There are a few short and steep climbs and desents but it is mostly flat(ish). There are tight twisty trails with lots of roots, logs, and rocks. There are also some nice easy trails for our friends that are just getting started on Mt. bukes.

Review: Banner has a variety of trails from beginners to intermediates. Maps are available over the internet but are "hand made" and should be used with a grain of salt. Many of the trails are marked. Still pretty easy to get lost among the myriad of trails packed into this little place. No huge elevation changes but pretty consistent rollers help with a little speed. Very few jumps here and there if you can tickle them loose. I live locally and ride Banner anytime I want to just load and go. Always super fun.

Review: From beginner's point of view, really fun trails that could run for longer miles or shorter rides from trails ranging from wider paved (stones)--mostly for equestrian riders, to narrower single tracks shooting off the paved trail. The paved trail made for easy navigation while in the park--so that you don't have to ride the same trail twice and/or returning to parked car--which was a snap. Tho no maps and few markings at trailhead, easy to lose urself in ur choice of singletracks (few miles) and getting ur bearings back on the paved trail back to parking lot. Easily spent several hours (3-4) and didn't exhaust all the trails offered. There are hikers walking dogs, equestrians, and couples on the trails (few and sparse on Sunday late morning-early aft) so caution is the word on some of those tighter downhill turns!

Review: They packed a lot of trail into this small area which makes for a great way to get miles in after work, but the trade off is a lack of flow. There are some kickers and a few tabletops thrown in on the very short but steep grades, but no matter what direction I ride I often feel like I am going 'the wrong way'. At the moment it is wet; I bet it is a blast to ride when it is dry and you know the area well enough to ride certain segments well

Review: Completely agree with this reviewer. Hard to get a sense of flow. Need to know trails well to link and have a ride that doesn't feel disjointed.

Review: Small place that feels big! Twisty, turny, swooping sweet singltetrack in seemingly deep forested area. Technical skills test and a smile on your face at the end...

Review: This 1mile by 1 mile square patch of forest offers over 20 miles of switchbacks, technical riding, and some casual trails to take the family on. In my five years of living 2 miles from the trailhead, and 4 living in Utah & Idaho since, I find myself driving back to visit this trail about 2 times a year, one of the best multipurpose trails I have ever seen. I know people who have came from all over the US to visit this trail.
