Description: From Barracks Lane Trailhead stay on the lower contour trail. At the 2nd gate stay left. The trail comes out on a 2-track after 4 miles.

From here you can either ride up the 2-track looking for a cairn just after passing through a fence gate.

OR... you can go down the 2-track for 1/2 mile, then catching the single track on the right. This single track climbs through the sage then follows Baker Creek eventually turning to the west and hitting the previously mentioned 2-track. Follow the 2-track up for another 1/4mile thru the gate.

From here follow the single track contouring generally northwest and looking for cairns at the tricky spots.

Once you get to the stocktank that is Rippey Spring there are many options. This track descends along Rippey Creek and returns on the contour trail back to Barrack Trailhead.
