Description: From the Observation Park the trail spur to the B&A trail is back toward the playground. This trail spur adds another two miles to the route so total one way is 15 miles. The B&A trail is a nice peaceful ride. It is one of those rails to trails conversion programs. So the trail is mostly flat and paved the whole way with only slight inclines and declines. The trail takes you through towns such as Glen Burnie and a few other towns located along Route 2. Warning: If anyone rides this trail hoping to ride through Annapolis, be prepared to go beyond mile marker 0, I turned at marker 0 because of fatigue. Enjoy!

This is a great trail to ride if you want to introduce other riders to biking in general. I take people with mountain bikes here or the NCR for a first ride to get them acclimated to biking in general. Definately not a mountain bike trail, but if it gets people out and riding, thats not a bad thing.

Easy, paved trail ideal for beginners. I've ridden it with my son several times. It is an ideal training trail for kids and allows them to get used to their bikes. The ranger station at mile six (from Annapolis) has bathrooms and water. The entire round trip from the BWI trail head to Annapolis is close to 32 miles.

This isn't really a mtb trail. I don't recommend it in the least unless you want to take your small children on a nice safe ride. You might as well just ride your bike around the block instead of hitting this up.

Due to the saturated singletrack I rode this today to get on the bike and get some exercise, trail was dry with only 2 snowy and icy spots. Was a good ride for a paved trail. Better than not riding at all I guess, I am hoping for dryer and warmer weather soon so i can hit the offroad trails.

Similar Trail: BWI Loop, WB&A, WO&D, MT. Vernon.

It should have been an easy ride if it wasn't for the snow and ice still on most of the trail. Talk about a workout for your legs. I need to revisit this trail in the summer and see how long it takes me then.

Similar Trail: BWI or Mount Vernon
