Description: Great singletrack for beginners, or anyone who wants easy to moderate singletrack. The trail is well maintained with solid log bridges and 2x4 bridges. The main track is a short loop that can be done in 20 minutes easy. The track is on a slight grade to make a nice light climb. Tight switchbacks can add to the challenge for experienced riders who keep their speed up. Also, follow the fire road past the loop connector to the end to find a challenging downhill single track that leads right to the river. Turn around for a very challenging climb to get back to the fireroad.

Hogback Ridge is overall an easier trail to ride, but suspension is a definite plus for a few of the obstacles. Had to get off the bike a few times. Lots of roots and some rough short ascents which you will need to get some momentum to get up in good shape. Trail seems to stay pretty dry, no real sloppy sections. Great single track if your a beginner like me, with a few challenges.* Review edited 11/22/2009* Review edited 12/13/2009* Review edited 12/13/2009

Hogback is a fairly short singletrack with a little of everything. There arent many ups and downs, however it can be pretty technical in spots. There is a creek crossing and a few log bridges. Takes about 20-25 mins to complete but easy to make multiple loops. Not a bad trail for extra practice.* Review edited 7/1/2009
