Trail Description
About this trail
Don't let the name fool you: this isn't a trail at all - it's a concrete greenway route. Even so, it's a very scenic greenway route through some pretty remote areas where you're sure to see wildlife any time of year. At one point the path crosses a 100 foot section of exposed granite where you're off concrete for just a moment. Long bridges, restroom facilities, and creek views make this comparable to Silver Comet on the west side. Check it out - not many people do!

Trail Q&A
Rider Questions

1

Q: whats the length of the trail -Guest

A: There are at least 20 miles of interconnected paved routes in the area, though not all of the mileage is within the park itself. For the most part, the path is an out and back with offshoots which effectively doubles the distance you'll ride here.

Review: Well maintained marked trails, adventuresome, little challenging at times, few little kicker hills and nature on steroids. Great day.

Review: The only reason I am not saying 5 stars because it is paved. Despite being paved, there were several awesome bridges, barns, and lakes to check out.

Review: Very nice *PAVED* greenway trail. Nice undulating terrain & beautiful scenery. Has an interesting rock quarry that I would recommend checking out while you're riding this trail. The rock literally meshes with the pavement!

Review: Rode it as part of muddy spokes (GA parks). Prolly shouldn't be on singletracks...but, great ride with family especially if you have yoing ones just learning to ride. If that is the case, don't even think of starting or finishing at the mall. Do an out and back from the park or stage your pickup before the trail runs into the metropolis.

Review: This isn't a single track trail, so it shouldn't be reviewed as one. But it is an enjoyable paved trail to ride along. Its one of the pathfoundation.org trails in Atl. If I could, I would give it a 3.5 and I do plan on riding this trail again sometime. There are nice scenic views and wildlife that you will see along this paved trail. Unlike the Silver Comet trail it has a lot more hills, curves and turns. If you are looking for a fun, safe and easy ride; maybe with friends and family that aren't so much into riding in the dirt, this would be a great place to do that.

Review: For a paved trail, this ride is pretty good. You can start from Stonecrest mall and within a mile you'll feel like you're in the country. Singletrack mountain bike trails are planned for the southern end of the path near the abandoned golf course. Woot!

Review: This is a MUT. Its good for road and hybrid bikes. Not worth riding unless you live relatively close. It's a poor man's Silver Comet.

Review: A semi-intown, scenic greenway trail that is fun on a road bike or with slicks on your mtn bike. Not really sure why it's on a site called "Singletracks" but it is still a decent place to put in some miles if you can't get on dirt and you are worried about getting side swiped by our fantastic Atlanta drivers.
