Description: Alligator alley is a nice short trail that takes you alongside Bivens Arm and offers some nice views of the lake. The singletrack is fairly difficult in some spots due to roots but overall it is rideable by most. The trail has some slight elevation changes here and there. Its fun to ride but it’s very short. It’s usually used to connect you with other trails that are spread out through Gainesville.

It's getting pretty overgrown or I would rate it higher. Some technical spots with large roots

One of my favorite parts of any southern Gainesville ride. Riding by the lake is quite nice, and the trail offers a nice array of hills, log overs, and, if my memory serves me, a teeter-totter. Definitely check it out along with Sweetwater Branch/Homeless hills.

This trail is alot of fun. I wish it could be developed more because it could be awesome. Dont travel for this trail but if you live in Gainesville check it out. Mostly used as a connector for trails that run through Gainesville. If you ride it as an out and back you will not even get 2 miles...very short or it woud get more stars
