Description: A scenic 794-acre park in northeast Oakland County with two lakes, spring fed ponds, and a wide variety of wooded terrain. The bike trail are substantially updated and maintained by Pauly the TC there and MMBA members. This trail is a nice flowing trail with lots of speed and some nice climbs to get your heart going. It is also know for it's bridges that cross many springs, and lowland areas. Because of it's climbs it may be one of the fastest trail in southeast Michigan. This trail drains really well after a hard rain and can be ridden right after a hard rain with no damage to the trail. The trail is also home to races every year one in the spring and in the fall. Also it has become part of a new Massive group ride(massivefallout.org) held every fall that covers all four of the trails in the Rochester area.( Addison Oaks, Bald MTN Rec, Stony Creek, and Bloomer) Addison is one of the best keep secrets in Southeast Michigan.

Should be more popular. This trail is really fun and has a bit of everything. It's fast, got downhills and decent climbs, bridges, rock gardens, its a length that makes it worth the trip, and if your really looking for a tough workout, just ride it again. I have a blast every time i go.

I've been on these trails the last two years and they are the greatest trails I've rode my bike on thus far. I enjoyed every mile and minute of it. Decent uphill climbs, outstanding downhill drops. It's a "roller-coaster" ride worth riding for Oakland and Macomb county residents.

A fast flowing trail rewarding speed on the down hills. While there are a few climbs they are not technical or long. A few rock gardens to keep you in check. A fun trail around 6 miles well marked.

I've been riding Addison Oaks for three years now and consider it my home trail, riding it at least once a week in non winter. It is a great workout with plenty of up/downs which make it the perfect place for interval training over a 45 to 55 minute ride. I clock the trail at 7.8 miles. There is only one climb of any length maybe 500 feet. The trail keeper is diligent and keeps the trail very fast by filling trenches and softening the root obstacles. Very fast and fun trail.

A great after work ride or weekend work out. Trail is 6 miles with some rolling hills. Well marked. a mix of various elements: tight switch backs, rolling hills, rocks and roots

Similar Trail: Maybury, Stony Creey, Bald MOuntain

Rode this last fall and was surprised to find this gem that gets little publicity. Addison is a fun ride with plenty of challenges and speed. Way better than I was expecting.
