There are around six to ten trails to ride on. They are single track and fairly narrow. There are some obstacles. There are just a few hills. Total area may be one to two miles of tracks. It is a pretty good ride for beginners as there are only one or two tough spots. The trails are in pretty thick woods. Lots of roots to ride over. Also a few low points collect water after a rain, this can be a challenge... The trail is free to the public. No restrictions on times to ride. It is usually not crowded...

Review: Most of these reviews are old before the trail has been built up better. It's a clearly defined singletrack that doesn't go onto the frisbee golf fairways. The loop is about a mile. Maybe a little less. It spits you out at a frisbee golf hole and it's a short ride up a fairway to the beginning again. The have next section taped off currently for trail construction. Very good for beginners. Nice fun trail. I was told by the guys building it that when it's done it will be comparable to Comite in Baton Rouge

Review: Rode the trail a few times now. Great trail for first time riders. Lots of sharp turns and a great log jump was created.

Review: We are in the process of creating an entirely new system of trails at Acadiana Park (no more riding on disc golf fairways). We have the first half-mile complete, with plans to finish a 3.5 - 4 mile loop by the end of the year. Trails begin near the tennis courts. Search Mountain Bike Lafayette on facebook for more information.

Review: I tried looking for a trail. I think what is called a trail is actually the frisbee golf path. When I asked someone at the help cabin they said that someone else had been there earlier asking about a bike trail and he wasn't aware of any. I did what I could starting out on the trail behind the tennis courts. I didn't see a loop but I rode downhill and then backup since the tennis courts are at a higher elevation. It took less than 30 minutes to go all around the low end elevated area of the path and then back up to the tennis courts.

Review: It is a shorter trail than usual but it's a nice little getaway... my friend and I took a detour and added some more distance to it..i dont know if we were supposed to go on all of those extra spots... lol. :-) i enjoy it ... a nice break from the crowded track at girard park and the noise of a walk on the streets.

Review: It rained like cats and dogs just before I went out and that was the only challenging part. The trails are a little difficult to find, I parked at the end by the tennis courts and went in there. it basically runs around and about the frisbee golf course. there are some single track that connect the holes. The best area is around the back 9. But this is also near the nature trail which is posted no bikes(near the camping area, there is a map board with that trail posted. If you live in Lafayette it is ok if you don't have time to get out of town, and you could probably put together a 1 mile loop once you have been there a couple times. The neighborhood is ok, but close to dark, i wouldn't hang out too long. Also there is a traffic signal on Louisiana and Alexandria now

Review: much of what the mountain bikers ride on is acually trails cleared by the disc golf club even though the mountain bikers were there first, the disc golfers are the real force there.

Review: Once you get off the frisbee golf course and onto the singletrack, it can get a bit technical. No real elevation changes to speak of. Good beginner trail, great for confidence.

Review: Fairly spread out with sections of singletrack and some right of way type roads... most of the time you are riding on what has become a frisbee golf park, it beats anything else we have going on in this town... but I wouldn't travel far to see this one. Suprisingly hilly for Lafayette area, no long descents or anything, but a few gully type areas and plenty of roots to add to the flavor.
