Description: There are around six to ten trails to ride on. They are single track and fairly narrow. There are some obstacles. There are just a few hills. Total area may be one to two miles of tracks. It is a pretty good ride for beginners as there are only one or two tough spots. The trails are in pretty thick woods. Lots of roots to ride over. Also a few low points collect water after a rain, this can be a challenge... The trail is free to the public. No restrictions on times to ride. It is usually not crowded...

I tried looking for a trail. I think what is called a trail is actually the frisbee golf path. When I asked someone at the help cabin they said that someone else had been there earlier asking about a bike trail and he wasn't aware of any. I did what I could starting out on the trail behind the tennis courts. I didn't see a loop but I rode downhill and then backup since the tennis courts are at a higher elevation. It took less than 30 minutes to go all around the low end elevated area of the path and then back up to the tennis courts.

It is a shorter trail than usual but it's a nice little getaway... my friend and I took a detour and added some more distance to it..i dont know if we were supposed to go on all of those extra spots... lol. :-) i enjoy it ... a nice break from the crowded track at girard park and the noise of a walk on the streets.

Yeah, definitely nothing special but like others have said...better then anything we have around here. First time going out there today and i was dodging frisbees left and right after about 2:45ish.

Only good if you live near the park and just want a quick exercise , have to ride all the trail more then once for any kind of mileage

It rained like cats and dogs just before I went out and that was the only challenging part. The trails are a little difficult to find, I parked at the end by the tennis courts and went in there. it basically runs around and about the frisbee golf course. there are some single track that connect the holes. The best area is around the back 9. But this is also near the nature trail which is posted no bikes(near the camping area, there is a map board with that trail posted. If you live in Lafayette it is ok if you don't have time to get out of town, and you could probably put together a 1 mile loop once you have been there a couple times. The neighborhood is ok, but close to dark, i wouldn't hang out too long. Also there is a traffic signal on Louisiana and Alexandria now
