Mild climbs and low tech this trail is built for speed. This is a race course in mid February. The ride is high desert, about 4000-4400'. If you're looking for more tech there are turn offs to the right on to Black Mountain. The trail goes across it's southern foothills at it's highest point. Length is 16 miles. The Bitches now has a bypass so is now optional, thankfully. Trail head is on west side of the road, right if headed north. * Review edited 9/6/2011* Review edited 9/6/2011

At the trail head off of Willow Springs Rd. you can park and begin your ride on the June Bug Trail. This trail winds up and down until a gradual climb brings you through the foothills. The decent to the desert floor is great single track fun. At this point you will find yourself in the camping area used for the 24 hours in the Old Pueblo. Continuing to the west will bring you to a gas line road that is nick named "the b****es" The road has about six rolling climbs which tires out the legs quick. Hang a left at the cattle tank and travel until you get to a cattle corral. Go through the gate and continue on swoopy single track back to the June Bug Trail and back to the parking area. This whole loop is about 16 miles.
