Pros: Just as comprehensive as MBA, but has a sarcastic side.
Cons: Not as many pages as other magazines.
Recommendation: This is a great mag, covers other things that MBA isn't so no real overlap of info. Covers a lot of stuff from tech to reviews, not to much bias either!
Recommendation: I just received the Aug 2009 issue from my friend who has the subscription, the very first page I opened up to was the Gary Fisher Superfly 100. Whoa, that right there told me I was going to have to get a subscription for myself! Overall it's well worth the money and your time! Well only if you love to MTB.
Pros: A decent balance of gear reviews, articles, photography, and variance of riding styles.
Cons: I wish this mag came out each month instead of only 8 issues a year.
Recommendation: A great overall magazine to keep you informed on the MTB world without focusing down too mch on any one area. Best epic trail pics of any mag out there. Always leaves me wanting to ride!!
Pros: Can be very informative. All the pics are top notch and very intresting.
Cons: None really
Recommendation: This mag covers almost every aspect of real, hardcore MTB'ing. It also comments on big events going on around the world. This magazine is good for anyone who is looking to increase there knowledge in MTB.
Cons: Way to much North Shore/ Wistler/ Bike Park info. Looks like they are really trying hard to reach out to the freeriders out there.
Recommendation: Freeriding has def been on the climb and Bike is def trying hard to reach out to that market. Pics in the mag are outstanding even if it's of some crazy nut doing a back flip over a valley. Still has some good articles on epic rides now and then.
Recommendation: Have every copy. Was better before it was sold.Buzz used to give goose bumps kinda commercial now. Is still the best mag.Wish Buzz had the soul back maybe someday
Cons: Articles are hit or miss and the magazine size seems to be shrinking every year.
Recommendation: One of the better mtb mags out there but it could still use a little help. The articles aren't bad, just short and too few.
