Pros: Specialized quality, better components than the other HardRock models just as D posted. Great service from Specialized as always.

Pros: Specialized quality, better components that the other HardRock models.
Cons: Its weight, and well, I bought a full suspension after riding my HR Pro for about 1000 miles. No real complaints for what the bike is intended to be.
Recommendation: A great bike to start out on, with enough room for upgrades of your up to it. I could be a little lighter, but its not intended to be a XC racer. You'll definately get you money's worth with this ride, and I won't let you down.

Cons: The hayes disc breaks have created a slight design fault as the they leak fluid. Therefore they are regularly in need of being bled.
Recommendation: For enthusiastic first time riders, or those with a budget. You can always trust Specialized, a great bike.
